The French Building Federation (FFB) is launching a major communication campaign on television and social media to highlight careers in the construction industry and showcase their diversity and appeal to the general public.

With the goal of raising awareness that the building sector is hiring, training, and offering career opportunities for everyone both young people and those seeking a career change, the FFB challenges common misconceptions about a sometimes misunderstood industry through a bold and original TV commercial.

Directed by Julien Israël (10.7 Productions), the film features Alice, a young woman riding her bike through a city without buildings. Passing by open-air homes and shops without walls, where inhabitants are frozen in their daily lives or private moments, she arrives at a door that opens to reveal a real city—vibrant, bustling with life, construction sites, and activity.

This spectacular yet poetic invitation encourages people to join the many professions within the building sector and thrive in one of France’s leading economic industries, which recruits more than 75,000 people every year.
